Dawn Laguens, executive vice president and chief experience officer of Planned Parenthood Federation of America (PPFA) and the Planned Parenthood Action Fund, led the successful campaign to defeat the Pence amendment, a hugely unpopular congressional effort that would have eliminated funding for Planned Parenthood's preventive health care services that millions of people rely on. Since then she has shaped the organizations’ message and strategy, successfully working to help reverse the Susan G.
