Social Media Video Intern

Are you a self-starter who wants to contribute to a great organization? Voto Latino (VL) is seeking a Social Media Video Intern. Candidates should be detail oriented and enjoy working in a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.The Social Media Video Intern will report to the Director of Social Media.

Part-time Internship, Fall/Winter 2019

Voto Latino offers all interns college credit and a stipend.

  • Write, edit, and produce short form videos for our social channels with quick turnaround time
  • Assist fellow producers on shoots (setting up shots, running sound, etc.)
  • Keep up with the latest social media trends and stories involving Latinxs
  • Create macro images using Photoshop
  • Must understand the Latinx experience
  • Must have experience with social media
  • Must have some experience with video production (Premiere, Photoshop, DSLR)
  • Must be willing to learn along the way
  • Must be willing to appear on camera for shoots
  • Must be creative, think outside the box, and have fun
  • Consistent record of juggling multiple tasks
  • Demonstrated commitment to and awareness of Latino civil rights and/or issues of social justice
