Operations Manager - Voto Latino

Operations Manager


Voto Latino is currently seeking an Operations Manager to manage administrative, financial, and office operations, and to provide support in people operations. This position will report to the Executive Director.


  • Lead virtual and in-person office management, including mail, facilities, utilities, technology, and supply inventory
  • Manage finance administration functions in coordination with our finance and accounting firm, such as tracking checks and bills arriving by mail
  • Lead in the administrative functions of Human Resources, including the employee handbook, posting to job boards and attending career fairs, organizing applicants, employee orientation and onboarding, and professional development opportunities
  • Lead in the administrative functions of payroll, such as ensuring timely staff entry of hours and allocations
  • Manage record keeping and administrative review of contracts, such as monitoring the timing of contract renewals and tracking compliance clearance
  • Ensure that databases that hold administrative information are up to date, such as for invoices, vendors, and select donors
  • Coordinate organization wide meetings and events, including team bonding activities
  • Provide support in fostering a positive work environment, such as contributing towards employee appreciation efforts
  • Create experiences and spaces for self-care
  • Develop and manage our fellows program, which includes fostering partnerships with university internship programs
  • Additional operations duties as assigned


  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven experience in administrative duties
  • Exercise discretion with sensitive information
  • Consistent record of juggling multiple tasks
  • Ability to be nimble in the face of shifting and competing demands and ambiguity
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Effective verbal communicator
  • Motivated self-starter and creative problem solver, including proactively anticipating the needs of others and flagging and mitigating risks
  • Commitment to and awareness of Latinx civil rights and issues of social justice


Must be based or be willing to move to the Washington, DC area in the future, remote work currently during the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Salary & Benefits

Salary is $55,000-$60,000 annually. Voto Latino also offers competitive benefits, including health insurance, and paid vacation leave. This is a full-time employment position.
