How to Use VoterPal

A Step-by-Step Guide

Voted among the top five political apps of 2018, VoterPal registers voters in a few short steps. Remember, to register to vote, people must be U.S. citizens. Some states have various rules on the age when you can pre-register and different voter registration deadlines, so be sure to check out this link from for more information.

Step 1 – Download app and select mode

VoterPal is available to download for free on the App Store and Google Play. Once downloaded, VoterPal will ask if you’d like to register yourself or a friend.

Step 2 – Scan ID

To register, the name, address, birthday, and ID number of the registrant are needed. Scan your ID, and all the information needed to complete voter registration will be automatically populated into VoterPal. Verify the information is correct. Note: If you do not have a state-issued ID, you can enter the same information manually.

Step 3 – Print, sign, and mail your form

A PDF of the completed registration form will be emailed to the person registering. The person registering will need to print, sign, and mail their form to the address provided in the email.

LEVEL UP – Organizer Mode

Organizer mode allows for users to register multiple people at the same event or for the same organization. VoterPal will prompt organizers to fill out information including event and organization name, email, and zip code. VoterPal will keep track of how many people get registered at a single event. You can even sign up to be a Voto Latino partner to get reports on how well your organization or team is doing!
