Scheduler to the President

Summary
Voto Latino seeks a detail oriented and passionate Scheduler to the President committed to making a positive impact on society. The Scheduler is responsible for managing the President’s schedule and calendar, and serving as the first point of contact in the Office of the President. This role plays a crucial part in supporting the organization’s mission by ensuring the President is able to effectively allocate their time and attention to key initiatives and stakeholders. This position will report directly to the Chief of Staff.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage the daily, weekly, and monthly schedules for the President, including arranging meetings, appointments, and conference calls
- Manage all inbound correspondence and meeting requests for Office of the President
- Plan and organize domestic and international travel itineraries, accommodations, and logistics, including booking flights, hotels, and ground transportation
- Maintain an organized system for tracking appointments, commitments, and important dates, and ensure the President is informed of the schedule in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related capacity
- Excellent writing/editing and verbal communication skills
- Highly collaborative style; team player; extensive experience working in fast paced environments and working with high profile individuals and organizations
- Proficiency in Google Suite, calendar, scheduling, and messaging software, with an interest in learning new software platforms
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and excellent judgment
- Ability to prioritize with high attention to detail
- Demonstrated commitment to, and awareness of, Latino civil rights and/or issues of social justice
