Social Media Manager – Platforms & Graphic Engagement

Position Summary:
The Social Media Manager will oversee Voto Latino’s daily social media presence, ensuring consistent, strategic, and high-performing content across platforms. Reporting to the VP of Digital Engagement, this role will manage content calendars, track performance, and lead rapid response efforts while working closely with the Associate Producer and Senior Graphic Designer.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day activity across Voto Latino’s social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Bluesky, Threads).
- Develop and maintain content calendars to align with campaigns and organizational goals.
- Draft and post content, coordinating with the Associate Producer and Designer for assets.
- Produce and distribute the monthly digital newsletter.
- Lead on rapid-response communications, ensuring content is timely and on-message.
- Monitor analytics and performance, adjusting strategies based on audience insights.
- Ensure content maintains brand consistency and quality across channels.
- Support light graphics production by creating or adapting quick-turn visuals in Canva or similar tools when needed.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in social media management or digital communications.
- Strong copywriting and editing skills with attention to brand voice.
- Experience with analytics tools (Meta Insights, Sprout, Google Analytics, etc).
- Demonstrated success in building engagement and growing audiences.
- Basic experience in graphics tools such as Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator for quick-turn content.
- Knowledge of Latinx issues, civic engagement, and/or social justice preferred
- Spanish proficiency is a plus.
- Experience managing remote teams is a plus.
Salary & Benefits:
Salary range $ 70,000–$75,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Voto Latino also offers competitive benefits, including health insurance and paid vacation leave. This is a full-time employment position.
