Summary

Voto Latino (VL) is seeking motivated individuals to join the organization as Summer Fellows. These candidates will work to support the development and implementation of various VL’s initiatives, including but not limited to Communications, Campaigns and Partnerships, Research, Digital, Social Media, and our Executive office. The positions will be a hybrid with the option to work from home with the possibility of in-office. The role is responsible for contributing to their allocated department.

Application Deadline: Rolling basis.

Compensation: Fellows will be compensated at $15 per hour for 29 hours per week to be completed by August 5th, 2022. Opportunities to extend will be determined on a case-by-case basis.

Location: Hybrid: Remote with the possibility of in-office work

Requirements

  • Be a strong self-starter and self-driven individual
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Experience meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work individually and in a team environment
  • Experience with grassroots organizing a plus, but not a requirement
  • A profound understanding of the Latinx community and issues of social justice
  • Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when needed
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
