VOTO LATINO INTERN
Summary
Voto Latino (VL) is seeking motivated individuals to join the organization as Interns. The candidates will work to support one of the following departments – Communications, Research, Digital, Operations, or the Executive office. The positions will be hybrid remote with the option to work from home and in-office. The role is responsible for contributing to their allocated department.

Terms & Deadlines:
- Spring:
- February – May
- Deadline: Jan 15th
- Summer:
- May – August
- Deadline: Apr 15th
- Fall:
- August – November
- Deadline: Rolling deadline
Applications will be considered until the positions are filled.
Compensation:
This intern will be compensated at $17.50 per hour for up to 29 hours per week. Start and end dates are flexible.
Location:
Hybrid: This opportunity is open to remote (within the US) and in-person applicants in the Washington, DC area.
Requirements
- Be a strong self-starter and self-driven individual
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Experience meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work individually and in a team environment
- Experience with grassroots organizing a plus, but not a requirement
- A profound understanding of the Latinx community and issues of social justice
- Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours when needed
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) a plus
