In Remembrance of Senator Dianne Feinstein

In response to the passing of Senator Dianne Feinstein, Founding President and CEO María Teresa Kumar released the following statement.

“Senator Feinstein shattered glass ceilings, and her contribution as a courageous and vocal leader against gun violence is one of many highlights in a legacy of leadership. Growing up as a constituent of Senator Feinstein, I witnessed firsthand her drive as a compassionate champion and public servant for the people of California. While we may not have been aligned on every issue, her commitment to progress is one we can all admire. May her family find peace during this time and the memory of her many significant accomplishments live on.”
