Voto Latino Celebrates Brian Stansbury’s Biden Administration Appointment

In celebration of Brian Stansbury’s new appointment to the Department of Transportation, where he will serve as chief counsel of the federal motor carrier safety administration, Voto Latino President and CEO María Teresa Kumar issued the following statement:

“Brian is a terrific mind, and he will be a first-rate public servant. As a Voto Latino board member and our Treasurer, Brian has consistently demonstrated strategic creativity and thoughtful stewardship – both qualities he’ll be taking into his new role with the Administration.

“Brian’s idea to create the UndocuNeighbor Fund – pairing attorneys with undocumented DACA-eligible youth on a pro-bono basis – has been an important contribution to securing justice for so many. I look forward to seeing his contributions at the Department of Transportation and beyond.
