Voto Latino Supports John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act

In response to the reintroduction of the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act, Founding President and CEO María Teresa Kumar released the following statement:

“As we celebrate National Voter Registration Day, Voto Latino is proud to be a part of a coalition of organizations wholeheartedly endorsing the John Lewis Voting Rights Advancement Act. Legislatively enshrining voting rights is of vital importance as our democracy continues to face unprecedented attacks. We urge all who believe in American values to support the bill.
