For too long, millions of workers in this country have gone without paid sick leave, forcing them to choose between getting a paycheck or taking care of their health, even in cases where their illness could potentially impact others. As a result of the coronavirus pandemic, Democrats in the U.S. House and Senate recently introduced legislation to guarantee all workers paid sick leave.
