Voto Latino Responds to Republican Attorneys General Threats Against Corporate Diversity Initiatives

In response to the Republican State Attorneys General letter targeting corporate diversity initiatives, Voto Latino Founding President and CEO María Teresa Kumar released the following statement:

“After eliminating Affirmative Action in higher education, it was predictable and cynical that the far right would now target economic opportunity and workplace equality. Even before affirmative action was repealed, corporate leadership poorly reflected our country as a whole. This latest attack on equality seeks to roll back the marginal progress we’ve made in recent decades, and we will not let them succeed.”
